Luke is a poet, novelist, editor and academic.

His books include two poetry titles, Robot Squirrel (zimZalla, 2017) and the clearing (Atlantic, 2016), a novella Eels (Guillemot, 2018) and a biography of the poet Jack Clemo, Clay Phoenix (Ally, 2016).

He has also edited two books of Clemo's writing for Enitharmon and for Francis Boutle, and a book about trees for the arts and environment charity Common ground.

Luke is also the founding editor of Guillemot Press, an award-winning poetry publisher based in Cornwall, and a senior lecturer at Falmouth University.
